This is one my great ideas to make money whenever i went to an auction i would lookout for lignum vitae bowls if they looked a bit rough and where cheap enough i would buy them clean them up bore them out and fit a modern clock movement then turn a base. 

So far so good i have sold three of them in about ten years i thought i had a lot of bowls knocking about a stock take was in order i am the proud owner of 57 ligum vitae bowls
